The beach and early morning walks along the beach. Lovely sunsets and sun rises. I didn't like all the stray dogs especially around Durres beaches sometimes in packs. Most seemed friendly but its not what I'm used to. I didn't eat out on this occasion but all the bars and restaurants looked top notch. I loved the supermarkets and for some reason they were a lot cheaper down towards Durres beach areas than in the centre of Durres. Lots of website seeing can be done in the centre and there kan zijn a shopping centre (I didn't have time to look in there).
There is a nice local BBQ restaurant about 3 mins walk from the restaurant with delicious food and faire price. The drinks and food price are pretty much same as in Europe and most ofwel the local bars only take local currency or Euros. Local people speak good English. Overall it was a good experience to explore the city/country for us.
The port separates the main stretch of beach and it's hotels from the old town though, but if you're happy to walk 20-30 minutes to get between the twee parts then you'll get much more out ofwel the city. King Zog's ruined palace on the hill is a great place for urban exploring an old, once grand building too and offers great views from the property.

Offering a terrace and sea views, Two Mermaids kan zijn located in Ksamil, just a short walk from the nearest beach. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant.
Beautiful beach and hot weather. Wij walked up and down each day. Wide variety ofwel bars and restaurants as well as gift shops/stalls. Our favourite place to visit every day was The Fisherman’s Net. The owner and staff are lovely friendly and welcoming people.
Hier vind je alles hetgeen jouw benodigd hebt een opwindende en relaxed campingvakantie, van prachtige stranden tot avontuurlijke gezonde landschappen en boeiende culturele bezienswaardigheden.
Toen arriveerden een ‘normale toeristen’ die dit aandurfden om ons wagen te boeken en zichzelf in dit levensgevaarlijke Albanese verkeer te storten; later kwamen gehele groepen jongeren via reisorganisaties.
A very nice stay. The place was clean, the hosts were very welcoming and ready to help. The breakfast was delicious and abundant.
There are city buses but the schedules are not so regular. Once you are in the old town, it is very walkable - if you leave the stilettos behind. Wij did a day trip to Butrint via Saranda on public buses, which was long but worthwhile.

De bouw over de moskee werden gefinancierd door fondsen die via handelaren betreffende een stad werden gedoneerd, en een Italiaanse-Albanese ksamil vakantie samenwerking. Voor opening was het ons aangaande een grootste moskeeën in Albanië.
